WELCOME
Welcome to Long Road Ahead! We are a new (but dedicated) rescue center on FP. Our mission is simple: to find a loving home for each and every dog that comes to stay with us. However, we do not breed, train or show - we leave that to the future owners! If you ever change your mind about a dog you have adopted from us...please contact me before selling/giving them away because I will be more than willing to take them back.

Star is looking for her forever home! She's over 100 FP days old... which means that she'll soon be retired. We're trying to find her a home before then! Her 'starting bid' (adoption fee) is only $25 FPD. Help find Star's forever home and spread the word about this lovely girl! STAR HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

SURRENDERS
We accept ALL surrenders, regardless of age, breed, condition, stats and so on. Long Road Ahead is a surrender-only operation and I am not willing to pay for any dog because it gets too costly, on top of buying supplies and caring for the dogs. If you would like to surrender a dog, send me a message! Remember that we, like any kennel, have a limited amount of space. There is a waiting list, but there are also many other rescues on FP who would be glad to take your dogs!

ADOPTIONS
We have lots of dogs looking for their perfect home!
Adoptable dogs are up for private sale at $100. The amount you bid does not affect your chances of getting the dog - first come first serve - however, we do require all adopters to pay the $100 adoption fee to help fund our rescue. Dogs must have stayed with us for at least one night and must be in good condition before we put them up for adoption. Before handing dogs over to new owners, we perform a quick kennel check (just to ensure your current dogs are well-cared for). Long Road Ahead has the right to deny your offer if we feel the dog would be better off in a different home.

DONATIONS
All donations are welcomed by our rescue! Food, beds, leashes, collars, toys, FPD, etc. Everything goes to towards Long Road Ahead and our dogs.

FOSTERING
Currently, none of our dogs need foster homes. If you are interested in fostering a dog (or multiple), send me a message! I will let you know if we are out of space and would like you to foster some dogs. You ARE NOT allowed to sell, breed, train or show any of our dogs while you are fostering them and you MUST return them to me or send them to their new owner at my request.
