- Sports: My dogs are organized according to Breed Sport; meaning every breed is assigned to a specific sport. I look at the top skills that breed has, and match it to a sport that I feel fits the breed. It can be a little lopsided because some sports (Herding, Schutzhund, etc.) will have TONS of breeds while others (Sledding, Water Work, etc.) will only have a few, but oh well.
- Breeding/Retirement: I am not super worried about genetics, I would like to see all my dogs have a continuing bloodline, so I try to work them in wherever I can. That being said, I will try not breed an all EEEE dog with anything less. I do want good genetics, I just also want all of my dogs to be accounted for.
- Collecting: Hoarding things is a habit of mine so I am trying to collect pretty much everything you can in the game. (Dogs, critters, special items, etc. You name it, I'm trying to get it!) That helps because I’m a completionist so I want to get all the FP achievements too.
- Rescuing: I am a sucker and feel sympathy for fictional characters/people/animals at the drop of a hat. Therefore I try to adopt as many dogs as I can from the Humane Society and "rehabilitate" them by cleaning them up and then sorting them into their respective kennels. I will also browse the dogs for sale every once in a while and see what I can find. Dogs that are in really bad condition I will usually buy as long as they are not too expensive. (I do not judge people who "abandon" their dogs or allow their conditions to get low on FP, IT IS JUST A GAME, I myself am just extremely soft.)
- Naming: I try to keep some semblance of my "rescued" or purchased dogs original name, and I use this format: Callname = Nickname (Sue, Bobby, Rocket, etc.) and Fullname = Song Title, Phrase, or Idiom (Two Steps Forward - One Step Back, Another One Bites The Dust, etc.). If the Callname or Fullname fits my formula I will keep it and figure out something for the other name. If both names work, I keep it!
- Mascots & Old Friends: One of my Kennels is labeled “Mascots”, it is filled with dogs that represent a real dog from my life. Ranging from clients dogs I walked as a kid, to my own current dogs and everything in between! Any dog with a (MAS.) next to their name is a Mascot, dogs without a (MAS.) are partners to be bred to my Mascots to try to get a closer match. Some of the Mascots don’t have the correct coat/prefix or aren't EEEE etc. so it will take me a while to get a near-perfect match. A lot of the dogs I care about are mutts/mixed breeds so I picked either one of the dog breeds in their genetics or just a dog that looked like them. I also have a Critter Pasture labeled “Old Friends”, which is full of past and current pets and pets of close relatives/clients. More info (what I can remember) about the individual Mascots and pets below!

Willow - Rescue Tuxedo Cat - He chose us one day, just walked up and invited himself inside. He had no tags or chip, and nobody every came looking for him. He was my childhood cat, and my best friend. He lived with us for about 15 or 16 years and reached 18 years old. He loved picking fights, and over the years picked up many battle scars; tattered ears, a scarred eye, and chipped teeth. He would walk me around the neighborhood, and invite himself over to the neighbors homes.
