Aunum Hill Kennels

Aunum Hill Kennel Dog Relocation and Purchasing Services (DRPS) Hi, welcome to Aunum Hill Kennels. We are settled in a richly wooded area, deep within the heart of Canada. As you pull up the dirt lane that leads to a large farmhouse, you hear a cacophony of dogs barking. You stop in front of a white house on a circular driveway. A young woman comes and greets you kindly, before leading you over to several stone barns, connected to the house by a walkway with stone walls, and a wooden roof. The barns give off an old traditional feel. You enter through two large wood doors into a well lit dry area. Along one far wall are large kennels, with access to outer runs through automated metal doors. The kind woman explained that when the dog presses a button the door opens up to a spacious grassy run with trees and toys. On the other wall is full of leashes, harnesses, food, and other basic dog supplies. The dogs in the kennels were very happy and clean, and well fed. The other barn was quite similar, with the exception of some small cozy rooms, one of which held a litter of cute puppies. The entire farm is clean and well organized, and the dogs nice and well socialized. The woman leads you into an office off the main house, where you discuss the business. Breeding and Showing: We breed labrador retrievers and german shepherd dogs, and are working our way slowly up to higher quality dogs. We show them every day, and they are well cared for. You may see a few other breeds as well. This is my breeding philosophy and strategy: I don't expect to make a real profit with my dogs. I intend only to improve the genetics and levels of dogs out there. For each breed line I have, I have one, maybe two or three male dogs. Then I have between 5-10 females that are bred once they reach level 20. I only breed dogs level 20 and up. I also aim to have the "lala" gene, 24HH/EEEE, and then color. I also don't have a whole lot of extra time on my hands, so normally I don't have more than 20 dogs, or else it is too much stress on my schedule. However, when I am boosting a casso breed, I only require that dogs be level 5 to breed, as the focus is on leveling, not statistics as much. This is only when I am trying to reach a casso goal. If you agree with my philosophy, or have a similar one, feel free to message me! I love being messaged. We can chat, compare strategies and dogs, and more. Dog Relocation and Purchasing Services: This is a rather new service, that we are implementing into our kennels. This is different than a rescue, we don't take in just any dog, the dog has to have no fairs and at least 8HH. These dogs will be held and cared for in our DRPS kennel, until we find a buyer who is willing to care for the dogs, and keep them active. You might have heard a little about our purchasing services. Clients will come to me, and request a breed of dog, with details such as level requirements and genotypes. I will then to my best to find a dog that matches that description at the cheapest price and buy it for you if you'd like. This service is ideal if you don't have enough time to spend on searching dogs all day. This service costs the dog's price plus a 500fpd extra price. Thanks so much for being interested! Kalli, of AnHK.
