Puppy's Pawtastic Pups
Welcome to Puppy's Pawtastic Pups!
We are currently establishing a baseline for how we want to really care for our animals, but here is a general idea of how we take care of our dogs around here...
1. We adopt a wide range of dogs. We typically keep an eye on the humane society for abandoned dogs in need of a home. We also will look at the sales listing for dogs priced at $0.
Rescuing dogs and providing them a new home and a better life is our ultimate goal. If you are interested in a dog within our kennel, send us a message!
2. Dogs within our kennel MUST reach 20 FP days prior to being bred.
There are some dogs brought into our kennel that are bred prior to this age, but we prefer to let them reach 20 FP days before being bred.
3. Dogs within our kennel must be AT LEAST 20 FP days old to be sold. Additionally, dogs bought or rescued must stay in our kennel for 3 FP days prior to being re-sold.
There ARE exceptions to this! Puppies born in litters through our kennel will be sold earlier than 20 FP days. Furthermore, if we receive a message about interest in receiving a dog young, we will also make the decision to sell it sooner than 20 FP days. HOWEVER, they must still reach the 3 FP day stay before being re-sold. This rule is to keep our dogs from being rapidly bought and resold, as well as to ensure most of them are not bred prior to 20 FP days.
4. We shoot for the best possible care of all dogs in our care. They will be fed, watered, and socialized as often as possible (ideally every day).
5. Most puppies will be sold or up for offers. We do find sentiment in keeping the first puppy of our main breeding dogs, so we will typically keep one puppy from each female's first litter WITH US.
There are cases where we bond with a puppy from a later litter, in which we will keep them as well. We aim to spread the wealth and provide puppies to as many people as possible, but please be patient with the staff and their quick-to-bond, sentimental personalities.
We hope you enjoy our humble abode and all the cute faces of the dogs in our care!
