Kooikerhouse

I have decided to start on Kooikerhondjes, because they are gorgeous. I love BCs but they are insanely overpopulated on FP.

While doing my diversifier and progenitor achievements, I have seen a lack of studs under $25,000 with excellent health but high level in some breeds so that will be my goal - provide public studs of breeds in need.

I love the challenge of genetics and that's what brings me back to FP pretty much 2 decades later. The biggest challenge is starting from scratch with a rare breed. I used to play FP as a teenager but life got busy. I learnt a lot about dog breeds, genetics and dog sports from FP. I am delighted to see that all these years later it is still the same old game and still so popular! I figure I will try to collect as many breed specific aptitudes as I can along the way, while working on large litter size and health, and ideally charisma and other sport specific traits.

I don't know how active I will be this time around but will see how I go. Once I get more money and the feel of the game again I will probably look into corgis, shetland sheepdogs, daschunds, rottweilers, belgian malinois, west highland terrier, or perhaps samoyeds. I'll probably choose based on what dog I like the look of. I am fascinated by colour genetics but a lot of breeds that I like don't have much variety.

A bit about me IRL: I am a ~30yo female from Western Australia. Being +13hrs FP time is annoying! I love gardening so you'll notice plant themed names. I have 2 horses, a black ragdoll x cat and my beloved chocolate border collie Kara. I'm a registered breeder although she is the only dog I own. Gotta start somewhere! I am expecting my first child in July 2024 so if I go quiet for a while around that time you know why!
