dream in west lake

hi i'm nolly!! i'm trying to breed 24HH lala shih tzus from first gen (no focus on aptitude yet, haha i didn't really get it when i started).

i'm also trying to breed 24HH lala pekingeses and lhasa apsos on a smaller scale :) i also have a side account where i'm trying to breed 24HH lala japanese chins + scottish terriers. as you can see, i am obsessed w 24HH lala projects......... i have yet to finish one :P

my kennel name is a reference to xi shi, who is one of the four beauties of ancient china and is the namesake of shih tzus in contemporary mandarin (they're known as xi shi dogs! which is funny to me bc of their smooshy faces hehe not everyone finds them so cute). the west lake in hangzou is said to be a reincarnation of her, i guess because it's so beautiful!! i am like 95% sure i took "dream of west lake" from a line of poetry or the title of a poetry book, but i can no longer find anything that matches exactly LOL but its a pretty name isn't it??

i love shih tzus very very much!! my first ever dog was a shih tzu!! his name is pepper and he's a grumpy old man. there's a dog on this account who's even named after him and is one of the founders of my 24HH lala line, and that dog will NEVER be unlocked!!!! i think even if they get gross eye boogies and sneeze in your face, they are some of the cutest dogs ever :) they have great personalities and are just so sweet and chill! i would love to get another shih tzu in the future!!

if you wanna know about ME well..... i'm a 21 year old woman trying to live my life ;P my hobbies include writing, this website, cooking and baking, and rotting in my bed. some day i want to move to the big city, but right now my goal is just to be steady. but no worries!! my dreams will become reality.
