Love Our Paws - Dog Rescue Center

Luffwaffe - He was found in an abandoned home in a locked crate. At first he wasn't comfortable and didn't want to eat or sleep. We got him a buddy, Mary Kay, she played with him and had gotten him used to our community, by day 3 he was comfortable to go into surgery and had started to eat by day 2. 3 months from then (today) he is running and healthy. Petit Biscuit - He is the center's little warrior, when we first came across him he had been trapped in a hole and nearly dead, when we first brought him to the center he was bloody and very injured, we had chosen to proceed in surgery because something about him gave us hope. After surgery the recovery was a bit harsh, we all had saw him slowly breath and then not. It had shattered our hearts but when his tail started to wag again we knew it was a sign. After his recovery he started to gain energy and his lively spirit back, he met the other dogs and today he is still our little warrior. Scruffs - We had found her on the side of the street with one other dog in the desert, out of her and her brother she was the only one to make it. When we took her back to the center she warmed up to it pretty quickly and soon she was bouncing off the walls. Joey - We had found him outside the shelter doors with a note that stated he had been found in their backyard with an injured paw, we took him in and checked his paw, it was broken, we provided a cast and had got him in a treatment, a month later his paw healed and he was off to an amazing start. Gizmo - This sweet Whippet was found underneath a train station, he had four fractured ribs and was missing an eye. After 12 days of treatment we saw a change in him and he started having more energy and this just bright look in his eye.
