How's it so simple?
Faith like a child
Give You an inch and You take me a mile
I feel the wind rush
And the thunder roll
Two feet on the water, only one way to go
I don't gotta be afraid no more
'Cause I know You'll walk me through the storm
I'm more than just a talker
I'm a wave-walker

Lush pine trees and thick foliage stretch around you for as far as the eye can see. To one side, a mountain rises steeply as if reaching for the sky. To the other side, a valley slopes gently downwards, then turns to the dark, stony, sandy beach before giving way to crystal-clear, shimmering waters that, even at this distance, you can see are teeming with life.
From behind you comes a howl that fills the air, wraps itself around the trees, and chases the wind up the mountain. When you turn, you see a rocky cliff. An ash-colored wolf is perched on top, and meets your gaze with piercing golden eyes. Before you have a chance to decide whether to run, hide, or something else, it leaps down, navigating the rocks with skilled paws. It reaches the bottom and strides closer, looking even more massive up close.
"Who are you?" it demands warily, voice giving away that it is a she-wolf. "What do you want?"
You stare back silently, feeling like her keen eyes read far more about you than you know. She speaks again when she realizes you aren't sure how to react, and her voice is gentler this time, even if only by a bit; it still sounds as smooth, cool, and strong as steel. "I mean you no harm, unless your intentions are less than pure
Welcome to the wave•walkers kennel. It is currently undergoing an overhaul, redesign, and renaming - the whole nine yards.
At wave•walkers we strive for excellence. We are partially a breeding kennel, and partially a "rescue kennel" of sorts (disclaimer: I only call myself a rescue kennel in that regard because I pick up dogs from the HS, and on very rare occasion, take dogs that players want me to take. I never buy dogs just because they are dirty, I do not care what you do with your dogs, I do not want donations nor do I ask for them. I train and compete these dogs but generally do not breed them and am not competitive; I do it for fame points and for some fun variety. And it helps with achievements. I know rescues are generally disliked on here but I have no other term for it). Currently I have a mishmash of all kinds of dogs, which I am equipping and caring for so they will eventually retire out and clear out my kennel. I do have a locked GSD breeding project, and a locked start of a Golden Retriever breeding project. Continue scrolling for a breakdown of the kennels that will eventually exist, along with the project details and a bit more storytelling as Alaska and Moonstone show you around some more. :)

Kennel 1: Legacy Point
"Legacy Point is the home of our friend's most favorite residents - including the first dog she brought to this place, Gingerbread, and Ginger's mate and son," Alaska says. "They never age on, and I suspect they will be here forever. The residents at Legacy Point do not compete, and I doubt we shall ever see another litter..."
"But it is not impossible," Moonstone adds softly, smiling.
Legacy Point is a non-breeding kennel. It is essentially storage for my locked favorite dogs, including my first dog, Gingerbread. They stay locked so I can keep them in my kennel.

Kennel 2: Warrior's Bay
The bay is quiet as you approach.
"This place is well-defended," Alaska notes, and when you look at her, she shakes her head. "That is not me bragging about myself," she explains, although her fur fluffs out and you can tell she takes pride in her work. "Three different lines use this area as training ground."
Moonstone perches atop a small boulder. You follow her gaze to where some dogs are sleeping, others eating, and others chatting. "You will recognize German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and Dutch Shepherds," she points out. Sure enough, you see all three there.
"They all have their specialties, but they generally get along alright, and they help keep this place safe." Alaska's tail flicks like a small wag, and she lingers for a moment, proud of the team, before moving on.

Kennel 3: Heart Cave
Moonstone takes over here. "Our friend named this cave for the saying that 'home is where the heart is.'" She smiles gently and nods towards the massive cave, filled with toys comfortable beds, and plenty of treats, and surrounded with rich foliage. "These dogs have a special place in her heart."
"She's had them as pets," Alaska explains. "Mind yourself around the bigger ones. They wholeheartedly believe they're light enough to sit on your lap and be carried."

American Cocker Spaniel
Colors: Any
Aptitude: Show

Golden Retriever
Colors: Cream
Aptitude: Dock Diving

Kennel 4: Sunfire Valley
"Expect to work hard and play harder in Sunfire Valley," Alaska advises. "Nobody ever rests here..." She lowers her voice and you suspect you weren't supposed to hear her remark that "Their energy could power a small metropolis."
Moonstone laughs softly, but says nothing.
Alaska sighs. "You'll find a few odd breeds stashed here, but you wouldn't know it just by how they act. Expect to be playing fetch for hours on end. Dusk falls early and sunrise comes late here, since both east and west are blocked by higher ground, but that won't stop them from either training or playing games long before or after the sun touches this land. Some even make the trek up the mountain when it's very early, to watch the sunrise."

Chesapeake Bay Retriever
Colors: Any
Aptitude:

Flat-Coated Retriever
Colors: N/A
Aptitude: Field Trials

Kennel 5: Second Chance
"This is where the others sleep," Alaska notes. This pleasant clearing has shelter from the elements along the edges, and dogs of all shapes and sizes are scattered about, playing or napping in the warm sunlight. You inquire as to the purpose of this area, and Alaska tilts her head. "It is a resting spot. A temporary residents for those who will not stay." She nods to the various dogs roaming around. "They are here to prepare for new homes."
"Soon, some of them will leave." Moonstone's eyes sparkle. "Start families, or become champions."
Second Chance is for dogs pulled from the HS who are or will eventually be sold for 4500 each (for HS adoption fees, training, equipment, etc). The dogs who are sold are at least level 5 and registered in a casso, have G+ health ratings and will be fully equipped with basic leashes and collars, two bowls, a bed, a krong, and the correct food and toy. If they are female, they have never been bred. If they will be sold eventually but haven't met the requirements yet (level 4 or below or not fully equipped yet), they will still be in this kennel, but will not be up for sale yet.

Hi! I'm Forty Seven but will answer to 47 or Forty. I'm a Christian girl from the US, an artist (traditional and digital), a writer, an avid reader, and a fan of multiple TV shows, movies, and music artists (including the one featured above to the left, Citizen Way, and the featured artist, Bart Millard of MercyMe). I don't bite - feel free to message me to chat, to ask questions, or to roleplay (I love to RP).
As the box about my breeding projects mentions, I have real dogs. I used to own a Cocker Spaniel (2009-3/15/22), and grew up with a different Cocker. They were the sweetest pups and I'd jump at the chance to own another one day. We now have a rowdy young Golden Retriever who does not realize he's 70lbs. Like at all. Send help lol. We're hoping to train him to do agility because he's a little rocket full of energy and jumping and running is his favorite thing ever (if you've ever trained a dog in agility before any advice would be appreciated - never done this before!). This kennel was themed after a scene I love (forests, mountains, and lake/river), a song I love, and the story I wrote involves two of my longest-running characters for my writing. My FP characters are all on my character site, and soon I'll add my writing characters just for fun.
