hello! as you can tell from my user, my name is xin qi! it's actually my chinese name - i used to go by "Aspen" until lots of other 'Aspen's popped up that i decided i should change my name on here :) one thing that's probably different about me from most of the players here on FPaws is that i'm from southeast asia, specifically singapore! my interest in FPaws is quite inconsistent, so i tend to disappear for months on end. anyways, here's more about me!

i do draw but wouldn't really call myself an artist, since it's more of a hobby and i can go for long periods of time without drawing, especially since school is quite demanding. in school, i study business and play tchoukball, which is a sport that i never even knew existed until i joined the sport. i do also play netball outside of school.

i love all things cute (special mention to my dog - her ig is @miffythekangaroo, she's a shih tzu mix!), such as popmarts, cute stationery, soft toys, etc, the list goes on and on. i have also started to get into photography, and have recently bought more 35mm film rolls that i am super excited to take photos with! i also have a mirrorless fuji xt-100 camera that i'm trying to get the hang of. spicy food is also something i absolutely LOVE. i don't really game but i do like playing genshin, and occasionally sims 5 too, or other browser-based games such as lioden or flightrising. music and show-wise i tend to listen and watch english / western media or music. a show i have been watching lately is queen charlotte from the bridgerton series, and an artiste i've been listening to a lot lately is gracie abrams.

if you can't already tell, border collies are the main breed here. i have a few other breeds that i also focus on, but i don't have as many of those other breeds as i do border collies. (amount-wise) these other breeds are german shepherds, shetland shepherds and dalmatians. i am planning to focus on more breeds as well.
