A pair of vicious, bloodthirsty eyes glowed within the depths of the shadowed blackness ahead. It was never revealed exactly whom it was, other than the faint chuckle of an unfamiliar voice and the flash of pale, misty fur -- pawsteps echoed throughout this place of eternal darkness, as if many others were here as well.
A duo of monstrous creatures stepped out, eyeing the distance with robotic, unblinking eyes. One of them flexed her long claws against the ground of crimson stone. "Are we ready for war?"
"Indeed we are." The second replied, a grin slowly forming on his lips. He tilted his cranium slightly at the demon beside him, his saber-like fangs shining dreadful white in the gloom of night.
