Silver Birch Dog Shelter

Welcome to the Silver Birch Dog Shelter! Hi, I'm Kate, the manager here at SBDS. I run this place all on my own, and I love every part of it. *Opens a door and walks into a room full of crates, with dogs inside them. Some of them get up and wag their tails happily when they see me, and others stay lying down, panting excitedly and barking. I stop and pet an Australian shepherd through the bars of his cage. A bronze label on his crate says "Bandit".* These dogs are my life's work. In fact, some could say they ARE my life. *Smiles.* I'm glad you stopped by. Be sure to leave me a cookie at my kennel, and I'll come by and visit yours!
