The Girl Without Eyebrows

Once, on a chilly June night, a girl was born, around 12:00 a.m. The doctors saw her, they weren't sure how exactly it had happened, but this little baby didn't have eyebrows. She also had two huge birthmarks, one on here ear, popping out, and one on top of her head, popping up. The doctors said they would probably shrink with time. which was true. They also said this girl still might grow eyebrows too. Which was possible, but she didn't believe it.

As the girl grew she also found out that she had not one lazy eye, but two. Both of her eyes were lazy, and she still didn't have eyebrows. She started to understand that she looked different than most people. Not drastically different, but different enough that most people noticed. People pointed at her, stared at her, talked behind her back. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they even called her a "freak with no eyebrows" right to her face. She heard it so much, she started to believe it. She never told anyone. She thought she was the only She would pray that she would grow eyebrows over night, she wished she could be like her friends. The thing she overlooked was that she had friends.

Then one day when the girl was about 8 or 9 her sister said, "Hey there's something I want to show you," The sister showed the girl a youtube video, it was a makeup tutorial on how to make eyebrows for girls without them. The girl who made the video, had no eyebrows either. Suddenly, the girl realized she wasn't alone. Although no one in her family understood, someone did. No matter what experience you're going through, someone is experiencing it with you, even if you don't know who they are. It was from that day on, she realized, if they don't like you for what you look like, they are the ones who are truly ugly.
