Ryshan

Ryshan, the Orcapup

Pronounced Ree-shawn.
Based on my main fursona, Ryshan, the Orcapup (or Orkita) is a runty American Akita with orca markings. Most art I have will likely be of Ryshan. One eye green, one eye blue, they wear a collar with their name on it, and usually prefer to have a sled harness. They also have a blue nose, and all of their flesh (tongue, pawpads, etc.) is the same colour.
Gender: Neither, both, either - Ryshan's gender is whatever they want it to be. (Hence the neutral pronouns.)
Likes: Orcas, the colours blue and copper, a good book, and a quiet place to curl up with said book and their iPod. Ryshan is a bit of a loner, but they like small groups of family and good music.
Dislikes: Loud, obnoxious people, mostly. Also spiders. They know that spiders have their place in the world, so they try not to kill them, but they also try not to go near them. Ryshan also doesn't like total silence. It makes them nervous.

It's worth noting that Ryshan is a member of a mated triad - their mates are an oversized male border collie with cross fox markings named Rama, and a female black-furred GSD named Shizu.
Ryshan watches far too much CSI and Mythbusters, and can usually be found completely ignoring the "Do not try this at home" warnings.
They also have replicas of both Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom's CSI vests from the TV show (no 'real prop' things, they're just well-made replicas), and are prone to wearing them. (Which one they wear can depend on which gender they're using at the moment, but usually it's Sara's - she's Ryshan's favourite character.) Ryshan is a massive dork.

Jami

Jami, Son of Orcapup
Pronounced Jah-mee.
Jami is Ryshan's oldest son, and twin brother to Itasca. He's half Akita, half border collie, and he has grey-phase red fox markings and golden eyes. He did, however, inherit Ryshan's blue nose, however, his flesh has an odd grey colour. He is a bit of a flirt, but he's pretty loyal to his love, who was a longtime childhood friend before they became a couple. He will go way out of his way to help even total strangers - he loves people, and hates seeing them suffering. He's really protective of his younger siblings.
Gender: Male
Likes:Loud music and large groups of people - Jami's a people-person. He also loves his utility vest and bandoleer.
Dislikes:Like his parent, Jami is very unhappy with loud, obnoxious people. But where Ryshan will just roll their eyes and go on their way, Jami is likely to confront them.

Itasca

Itasca, the Near-Panda
Pronounced Eee-tas-kah.
Itasca is Jami's twin sister. She's also half border collie, half Akita, and has the blue nose of her parent, but her flesh is a reddish colour. Her markings are that of a red panda, with vibrant green eyes. She likes scarves, and has quite a few of them, and is really fond of tool belts with many many pockets. She's a computer whiz, and typically also carries her backpack with her laptop, or at the very least her tablet.
Gender: Female
Likes: The colour red, small, close-knit groups, and driving her brothers up a wall.
Dislikes:Itasca inherited her parent's tendency to dislike loud people.

Kin

Kin, the Golden Boy
Pronounced Keen.
Kin is the second son. Half border collie, half German Shepherd Dog, he has the markings of a gold platinum fox, with gorgeous honey-gold eyes. His flesh is also a dark gold colour. He likes to think he's a ladies' man, and can be a bit abrasive, but he's very sweet under all of that. He can also be really charming, once you get past the abrasive streak. His name is the Japanese word for gold, because of his markings.
Gender: Male
Likes: True to his name, Kin loves the colour gold. He also tends to like shiny things like jewelry, and he loves being the center of attention.
Dislikes: Being ignored, and silence. One of the few things that can really make him scream are camel spiders.

Polari

Polari, Not A Polar Bear
Pronounced Po-lah-ree.
Polari is the youngest son, but the largest. Half Akita, half German Shepherd Dog, he's mostly black-furred, but has a patch of white, blonde, and tan over his back, shoulders, and hips, making him look a bit like an African Wild Dog dipped feetfirst into black paint. He's a big guy, but he's a total gentle giant, with soft blue eyes. That said, he handles things like blood very well, and is an active member of a Search and Rescue team.
Gender: Male
Likes: People, but prefers small groups. He loves music, and almost always wears his iPod when not at work.
Dislikes: Seeing people in pain.

Rama

Rama, Bordering on Giant


Pronounced Rah-mah.
Rama is a border collie, but...magnified. He's about the size of a Great Dane. He has cross fox markings, and his flesh is black. His eyes are gold. He's a bit of a schemer, being distressingly good at long-term planning and carrying said plans out. He's a little Machiavellian in defense of those he cares about, but can come across as rather distant and aloof.
Gender: Male
Likes: Solitude and quiet.
Dislikes: ...Most people, really.

Shizu

Shizu, Just Run!

Pronounced Shee-zoo.
Shizu is a smallish, all-black German Shepard Dog, but don't let her size fool you. Shizu is an absolute bulldog, so to speak. She's confrontational, and brooks nonsense from absolutely no one, including her family. Shizu is sort of in charge of wrangling the whole family and keeping it running smoothly at home...and does similar things in her job, though what that job is she never seems to quite specify. She has bright green eyes, and normal pink flesh.
Gender: Female
Likes: Shizu rather likes a good brawl, and she very much enjoys keeping herself in shape.
Dislikes: Anyone messing with her family.
