Welcome to Sacred Lake Ranch! Our breeding program was founded by a select few Catahoula Leopard Dogs, hence our name, Sacred Lake. The word Catahoula is of Choctaw Indian origin and is translated into English as "sacred lake." Catahoula's were first used to herd wild hogs near the Catahoula lake region of North Louisiana.

Although we are new to breeding, our goal is to produce the best Catahoula puppies we can and raise them to create an even better next generation! We also currently maintain a few other breeds including the Great Dane and Miniature Dachshund as a hobby breeding project
