Running Wolves, Sled Dogs & More! Kennel

You are walking through the woods taking advantage of the warm weather and beautiful scenery around the area you were in; a quaint little town that you can't quite remember how you got to but nevertheless have enjoyed staying in. You see a worn down sign half covered in jungle that looks as if it's about to turn into dust at the slightest touch. It's apparently sturdier then that though as your hand brushes the jungle out of the way for you to read. The sign is written in a scrawl that looks like a child wrote it. In crayon. Nonetheless you dutifully read the sign; 'Running Wolves, Sled Dogs & More! Kennels!!' You blink and then smile wondering how long it's been since this sign was written, you're fairly sure that the place it's talking about doesn't exist anymore based on the signs looks, you also wonder how they have sled dogs in a place that has been in summer or spring weather since you arrived but then again maybe it's just one of the places that gets snow as well as swimming weather. You also wonder if maybe you should be a bit more concerned that you don't know where you are or how you got there in the first place. As you're pondering this the ground in front of you slopes suddenly-and startlingly, though gently- downward you realize that you had been walking along a dirt path until it had widened out into a sort of driveway which upon closer inspection-after you managed to not slip on the small rock your hiking boot landed on-leads up to a house which appears to be half kennel. You also realize that the grounds around it are covered in dogs. Lots of dogs. You jump suddenly as while you were busy gawking a human girl had suddenly appeared. As you dimly note that you're pretty sure that wasn't humanly possible you notice that she seems to slightly lack an understanding of personal space. As you lean back a bit she beams at you and enthusiastically greats you; "Welcome to the Running Wolves, Sled Dogs & More! Kennels. It was supposed to be just Running Wolf Kennels but well the Sled Dogs & More! got added to the name on the registration papers and well it kinda stuck. Anyway come on in and look around just be careful of tripping over wayward dogs." The last sentence she threw over her shoulder as she begins to head towards the kennel. As you're following her you are distracted by a wooden sign board covered in papers and signs. Your eyes scan over advertisements for sledding and dog training as well as what looks like a map-also drawn with crayon-of the Kennels and the surrounding area, though it obviously can't be the actual map seeing as it shows several different types of habitat and climates all around the area, before your eyes land on a poster that you stare at for a good minute before you realize the girl had disappeared as fast as she had appeared-and you also note that in her place is a dog that keeps looking back as if you should be following it-and quickly stumble off to find her. Warning Wolf sightings have been reported in the area.
