Ultimate Puppy Paradise

Welcome to Puppy Paradise, where every dog is treasured, loved and cared for.

If you ever buy one of my dogs and decide you no longer want it, please let me know and we can work something out, rather than just retiring or neglecting it. I've had two puppies come out of the litter, purchased the same day and retired that same day, and that just upsets me. :-( I know this is a game and I have a lot of fun with it, but I hate to see dogs that could have been in the game for a long time be purchased then immediately retired. Please let me know if you're considering doing that to one of my dogs and I'll buy it back from you.

I may not take this game as seriously as some but I love it. I do lock dogs I don't manage to get to on any given day and unlock them as I go along, but I eventually work every dog I have and no dog will age neglected in my kennel. With that said, if you see a dog you want to breed with in my kennel but the dog is locked, send the breeding request anyway or let me know and I'll unlock the dog. If I'm going to accept a request for a locked dog, I'll unlock the dog at the time I accept the request.

One more note about breeding: I reserve all females for my own breeding, except for some I obtained before I started applying higher standards for my own dogs. Some of the females I have, I don't wish to breed for my own kennel, so I will put those up for breeding. Otherwise, if you see a female you like, sorry. I won't accept any breedings unless that dog is about to be bred for the last time and I'm looking for a male for her. The most I'll breed any of my females is twice, but I try to wait until they're older before that first breeding, and many of them won't be bred but once.

If you want to bid on one of my pups, I will accept the bid immediately if it's a reasonable bid, so with that said, you have the best chance if you decide the most you're willing to pay for that dog, how much you really think the dog is worth, and bid that amount. If you just bid the minimum I have set, I'm going to wait until the fifth day or until a more reasonable bid comes along. That may or may not be your bid. If, on the fifth day of the litter, I have numerous bids for the same amount, I accept the one that came in first.

Regarding the sale of my dogs, I generally don't put any of my dogs up for sale unless I don't get any bids for a particular litter. Then, rather than having a litter go to waste without adding anything to the game, I'll take at least one pup, two if they're decent, and sell them when they come out of the litter.

Regarding pricing, all of my dogs start out at $5000. My goal is to have all of my dogs at least of the quality of store-purchased dogs, preferably much better of course, but at least that good. If I breed two dogs from within my own kennel or the price I paid for the stud is relatively low, that's where I start my bidding. The price goes up from there, depending on how much I paid for the breeding and how many pups are in the litter.
