Expression Kennels

Well, Hello! Welcome to Expressions Kennels!

I'm a long-lost FP player. I first started playing about 2005/06, and loved the game but hated how much time it took to enter my dogs in shows. I came back a few times during college, but, again, left due to time constraints. Now I'm back, and loving the new streamlined show entry system.

I've always had an interest in dogs and showing. My grandfather raised and showed Irish Setters with his father, and I grew up on the photographs of that time. I grew up surrounded by them- Golden Retrievers, Labs, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Collies, Beagles, and Pekinese. During college, I was fortunate enough to meet a dog who absolutely stole my heart. He was a Brindled Fawn Greyhound, a retired racer adopted by one of my professors, by the name of Armando. He was a gentleman, the perfect studio dog, and I immediately fell in love, not only with him, but with the breed and with sight hounds in general. As my RL situation, unfortunately, does not permit a large-breed dog, I'm committing myself to my sight hound lines here on FPaw.

Breed Goals
Health: First and foremost, my primary goal is to produce lines free from defect. I look forward to the day my dogs consistently reach perfect genetics- 24HH/lala/double stat boosted.
Colour: My goal for all of my sight hound lines is for consistently full "bb dd" expression or "Isabella" coloration. This is a secondary goal, and does not take precedence over the health of the resulting pups. This goal, obviously, only applies to those breeds that carry those genes, which currently only includes my EBEK Borzois.
Inbreeding Free: Expression Kennels is committed to playing the game without inbreeding. While I acknowledge that there is no in-game difference between dogs which have been inbred, and those that have not, I feel it makes the game more interesting for me and, certainly, more challenging. Dogs in my kennel whose pedigrees show inbreeding within 10 generations are marked with “INBR#”, the “#” indicating how many generations back the inbreeding took place. As the dogs are bred with non-INBR dogs, the “#” grows until it exceeds 10, or “INBRX”. Any subsequent dogs from that line will no longer be considered inbred.

Breeding/Buying Criteria
I work very hard to insure the quality of my dogs, and look for similar qualities in those breeders looking to incorporate my dogs into their lines. Interested parties must be active and consistent in the upkeep of their dogs. I will tolerate some inbreeding, if doing so would produce the highest quality pups, but offers from kennels participating in low-level breeding or excessive inbreeding will be rejected. When requesting a breeding, the dog must not be below level 20, or day 50. Priority will go to older/higher level dogs. All dogs sold come with bowls, beds, and chews, but will not come with collars or leashes.
