About this Kennel

The primary breed of this kennel is the clever and dashing Kooikerhondje. Originally from Holland, the Kooiker was bred as a duck decoy. How does that work? Apparently, the dog waves is fluffy, white tail and ducks would just follow the dog along into whatever trap was laid for that poor duck. The Kooiker is also an avid vermin catcher. It's known for it's good-natured, kind temperament, as well as it's alertness and intelligence.

Welsh Springer Spaniels are my secondary breed, and I have recently started breeding the Norwich Terrier.

About the Owner

After a very long hiatus, I'm back. Why the long break? School. Why am I back? Wanted a break from school. I'm a twenty-something Californian who, in real life, has one dog, a lovely mutt tuxedo dog named Sirius Black. I hope over this coming summer to get him registered as a therapy dog so that I can mesh my two greatest passions, puppies and medicine.

Apart from that, I'm a very open person and enjoy helping others with this site.

About the Rescue

While the major purpose of the kennel is to breed amazing Kooikers, and a few other breeds I'm interested in, it also partially serves as a rescue. I can't help myself when I see dogs available for adoption at the pound. However, if a dog is under ~65% quality, I do tend to retire them rather than putting them up for sale.

Adoption Information

Kooikerhondjes

Kooikerhondjes will be available for sale once I feel my line is ready. There may be sales on dogs that I feel are no longer useful to the breeding line. However, many/most of my dogs will be kept and used as show dogs.

MALES: Males with a Quality less than 90% are available for sale upon request and only after I've done a thorough check of the kennel to where it will be sold.

FEMALES: Females who have been bred more than 2 times or have a Quality less than 90% are available for sale upon request and only after I've done a thorough check of the kennel to where it will be sold.

Welsh Springer Spaniels, Norwich Terriers & Affenpinschers

No dogs are available at this time.

Others

All other breeds are available upon request, especially those in the $Sales$ kennel. Sale prices are negotiable, but a thorough kennel check will be performed for those wishing to change the price to anything other than the asking price.
